Current scientific studies of Therapeutic Touch indicate that it is effective in relieving pain, reducing anxiety levels, creating relaxation and speeding recovery from surgery. Therapeutic Touch is now being utilized by over 80,000 Healthcare professionals across the US.
Holistic Studies Institute is offering the title of Certified Therapeutic Touch Practitioner to all who successfully complete its special Accelerated 4 Day- Healing Course. This course will teach various types of healing modalities with the primary emphasis on Therapeutic Touch, preparing each student to become professionally certified. Where other programs of a similar nature limit content to a mere mechanical aspect of healing, HSI’s course will cast a wider net to include a holistic-spiritual perspective. The course will survey most alternative healing theories and spiritual traditions, covering such subjects as:

• The mechanics of Touch Healing
• Ethics, rules and limitations
• Origins and history of Touch Healing
• Self Healing & Attitudinal Healing
• Absent Healing & Prayer
• Visualization for Healing
• Meditation for Healing

Each class in this practical course will include practice sessions in Touch Healing and development exercises, which sensitize the healer to essential energies. The class also includes lectures/presentations by the instructor, discussion, self-healing and teacher-led meditations. Students are encouraged to journal and also, receive written lessons, from which to study at no extra cost. This course credits the student with 16 CEUs.

With Rev. Charlene Robbins

Rev. Charlene Robbins is the Associate Director of HSI and an ordained Spiritualist Minister. She is a graduate of the Holistic Studies Institute’s four-year Psychic Development Program, its Advanced Teacher Training Program and its Seminary Program. She holds Certifications in Intuitive Counseling, Therapeutic Touch, Hypnotherapy and is a Nationally Certified Reiki Master. As an experienced psychic-medium, she has taught psychic development for over 15 years, has given readings to thousands of people and has appeared on TV and radio where she demonstrates her psychic abilities. She currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Holistic Studies Institute and the American Board of Holistic Practitioners.


The Cost and Schedule:

The class meets once per weekend on Friday evening, from 6:30 – 9:30 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm, July 27/28 and August 24/25. The course is divided into 2 weekends. The tuition is only $79 per weekend. Additionally there is an enrollment fee of $25 and an optional certification fee of $35.

Tuition is paid in easy installments on the following timetable:

$ 79 - to be paid on days 1 and 3
