Level I Psychic Development is 20 classroom hours of theory and
practice instruction in Psychic
Awareness. All Psychic Development Courses are offered in two convenient weekend Parts (Part I & II).
Students take Part I. Then they have approximately a one month break
before coming back to complete their studies in Part II. This break
helps students to process and integrate what they have learned in Part I. Part II offers students to continue the momentum

in psychic and mediumship development designed to prepare students to become so
well trained that they are eligible to become a Certified Intuitive Consultant
by the American Board of Holistic Practitioners. This program
has enrolled people from all walks of life who
have learned and developed fascinating psychic and mediumistic abilities.
About the Program
Without burdensome work involved, the Psychic Development Program at HSI is designed to be fun, informative, concise and comprehensive. It emphasizes common sense, balanced with spirituality, which gives quality, depth and meaning to the psychic development process.
In our courses, students frequently participate in a psychic development circle (which is like a psychic laboratory), led by qualified teachers, for the purpose of developing mediumship and other psychic abilities. This circle begins with a meditation. Next, the teacher will help students to sort out the psychic impressions, which they receive and gently lead them into a discovery of their unique mode of psychic expression. All efforts are made, each week, to create a conducive atmosphere which will provide you with numerous opportunities to have meaningful psychic experiences.
A great feature of our program is our low tuition. Instead of paying the entire tuition upfront, students pay in two installments.. Our Weekend Course is priced at a very low $225 per weekend (If you enroll at least 5 days before the class begins) otherwise walk-ins at the door must pay $275.
Moreover, our classes are small (generally 10-25 students). A close teacher-student relationship is important to us and to the quality of your psychic education. Integrated into our program are written texts, authored by experts, which utilize knowledge derived from many years of research.
Our classroom environment is warm and friendly. A close, harmonious feeling is generated between students, and very quickly we find our classmates becoming a cohesive, family-like unit.

American Board of Holistic Practitioners The ABHP is a national association, which certifies qualified individuals whose education has prepared them to practice as Holistic Professionals. The ABHP accredits courses and training programs, which meet the highest standards of education in the Holistic Field. These credits are provided in the form of Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) to those completing study in such programs. |

recent years and is fast becoming recognized as a respected profession within

Upon completion of all four levels of HSI’s Psychic Development Program, graduates are eligible to become a Certified Intuitive Consultant. Our Advanced Trance Course is optional and not a requirement for Certification. However, most students opt to take Advanced Trance Course because this is where a great deal of the refined psychic and mediumistic phenomena occur. Certification is provided by the American Board of Holistic Practitioners. Also upon completion of each level students receive 20 CEU’s (continuing education units) in practical intuition.

What does it mean to be an Intuitive Consultant? The word intuitive, in the title, Intuitive counselor, refers to the ability to go into a heightened state of intuition during which valuable psychic impressions are received. The word consultant, in the title, relates to the ability to understand these psychic impressions and their relevance to others, as well as the ability to ethically communicate psychic information in a way that is helpful, sensitive and deeply respectful. Unless they are licensed mental health professionals, Intuitive Consultants do not do the work of Psychologists, Psychiatrists or Social Workers. Intuitive consulting does not treat mental illness, nor does it duplicate any form of therapy provided by mental health professionals. Intuitive Consultants believe in the traditional therapies and frequently refer clients to appropriate medical and mental health professionals whenever necessary. |
What is Intuitive Consulting?
Intuitive consulting is based upon a philosophy, which says that
intuition is a reliable and valid source of information. Intuitive Consultants
are psychic; making predictions about the future of a client is one of the
major focuses of their work. Rather than relying on the intellect as the
main source of knowledge, the Intuitive Consultant is trained to go beyond it
to access intuition. Intuitive consulting does not make decisions for a client;
it encourages responsibility, creates an atmosphere of hope and empowers the
client to make better and more informed decisions. Intuitive Consultants don't
tell a client what to do based on psychic impressions, but what will happen if
a particular choice is made. By revealing otherwise unforeseen opportunities
which may have a positive or negative impact on the client's life, the client
becomes more empowered and begins to exert more control over his or her future
in order to reach desired goals. Therefore, one of the great benefits of
intuitive consulting is to provide clients with strategies to reach their goals.
Besides making predictions about a client's life,
intuitive consultants also provide insight into relationships with family,
friends and coworkers. They may assist in finding lost objects and missing
persons. Information about past-lives, karma and soul mates may be revealed in
a session. Many intuitive consultants focus on career, business, financial
issues, and even provide advice on Stock market investments. Some intuitive
consultants function as mediums; their sessions would provide comforting
messages from people on the other side such as loved-ones, friends and even
spirit guides. Others may be medical intuitives and are able to make intuitive
assessments, provide insight into health and make predictions.

*Level II Intermediate Psychic Development
Level two consists of intermediate psychic training designed to develop psychic abilities further and to use those abilities on a practical level. Subjects included in this course are:

*Level IV Intuitive Consulting Course
Level IV places emphasis on how to skillfully, ethically and professionally help others using intuition, mediumship and psychic impressions. Those completing this course automatically become eligible for certification as an Intuitive Consultant. Some subjects included in this course are:

*Advanced Trance
Course This advanced course helps the student to cultivate his or her advanced level of experience into consciousness. This course places emphasis on the in-depth experience of advanced trance-mediumship and a focus on physical phenomena. We will create an atmosphere conducive to developing exceptional spiritual and mediumistic experiences as well as enhancing the student's well-being. Our Staff of Expert Teachers
Our staff of teachers are all graduates of the Holistic Studies Institute and our rigorous Teacher Training Program. Each staff member is a Certified Intuitive Consultant by the American Board of Holistic Practitioners. Staff Teachers are also Certified Psychic Development Teachers, by the Holistic Studies Institute. Many of our staff members have an impressive professional clientele that vouch for their astounding psychic abilities. Currently HSI has nearly 20 Certified Teachers on our Staff. Some of our classes are staffed by two teachers who co-teach the class. We find that it is especially helpful to have two teachers present in the development class at the same time. This really assists students to get the most understanding when receiving psychic impressions. Is the Founder and Executive Director, Stephen C. Robinson. Mr. Robinson holds the National
Spiritualist Teacher’s Degree, is a Certified Psychic-Medium of the National
Spiritualist Association, an Ordained Spiritualist Minister and a Board
Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist. He
is a member of the American Counseling Association and currently serves as
the President of the American Board of Holistic Practitioners. During the past 30 years, Mr. Robinson has
supervised the training of teachers and has taught thousands of students to develop their psychic abilities. |
is Associate Director, Rev. Charlene Robbins. Charlene is an ordained Spiritualist Minister. She is a graduate of the Holistic Studies Institute’s four -year Psychic Development Program, its Advanced Teacher Training Program and its Seminary Program. She holds Certifications in Intuitive Counseling, Therapeutic Touch, Hypnotherapy and is a Nationally Certified Reiki Master. As an experienced psychic-medium, she has taught psychic development for nearly 20 years, has given readings to thousands of people and has appeared on TV and radio where she demonstrates her psychic abilities. She currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Holistic Studies Institute and the American Board of Holistic Practitioners |

Psychic Development Tuition-- Levels I - IV
The tuition
for each weekend course is divided up as follows:
$50- Is submitted no later than 5 days before the class begins as an first installment called an "application fee."
$175- is the balance due on the first class on Saturday.
Total tuition for one weekend is $225 (If application fee is paid no later than 5 days before class begins) or tuition for walk-ins at the door is $275.
Total tuition for both weekends--$450
Note: All Level are taught and presented over 2 weekends. Students will receive a Certificate of Completion when they have finished the 2nd weekend.
By comparing our Program to other courses of similar nature, HSI provides 20 hours of instruction in each level with a very competitive tuition.
Texts: For Level I & Level II there is a text, each of which is $25 and may be purchased at the first class. There is no text for Level III, Level IV, or Advanced Trance. In these Advanced Courses handouts will be given instead of texts. There is no additional charge for these handouts.
Advanced Trance Course Tuition
The Advanced Trance Course is more of a class. It is presented as a one-day class, held 4 times per year on a Sunday--see above for specific dates. The cost per class is as follows:
$50- Is submitted no later than 5 days before the class begins as an first installment called an "application fee." This is applicable for each Sunday's class.
$95 is the balance due on the morning of class on Sunday.
Total tuition for each day's class is $145 (If application fee is paid no later than 5 days before class begins) or tuition for walk-ins at the door is $170.
