What to expect at an Open Séance

        Open Séances are open to the public You do not have to be an experienced sitter or be psychic or a medium to benefit from the experience. Newcomers are especially welcome.  All séances begin on time. No late-comers will be permitted to interrupt the Séance. Séances usually end as close to the closing time as psychically possible.

·         There is no break scheduled during the séance. Please use the restroom or get a drink of water before the Séance begins. No refreshments are allowed in the séance room.

·          Each Séance is lead by a Certified Séance Conductor, who is responsible for leading the Séance. Each Séance Conductor

        is a certified-psychic medium.

·          A Séance is usually conducted in a light-less room. This facilitates the production of psychic phenomena. If you are uncomfortable or claustrophobic in the dark, you may want to reconsider attending.

·          The Séance Conductor will lead the room through a brief meditation, designed to relax the mind and body. This meditation will assist you to remove burdensome thoughts and problems from your mind. This meditation will also assist in raising the energy of everyone and the circle.

·          BE OPEN-MINDED. You may be skeptical, but be nice. Don’t be negative.  Since the Spirit People work through the mind, you need to be open and clear. Harmony and cooperation are essential. A positive attitude and a sense of optimistic expectancy will give great energy to the Spirits who come through.

·          Each Séance begins with a prayer. The Séance Conductor will open the Séance with a prayer for protection and invite your Spirit Loved-ones, friends, guides and teachers into the room. Let your thoughts be supportive during the prayer.

·          You are in a safe environment. There are no negative or evil Spirits in our séances. Don’t waste your or our time looking for them. If you are into black magic, dark arts or are intrigued by the sensational, you are in the wrong place. We always work with the “White Light of Love and Protection.” This light is Divine, universal and produced by our prayers for it and concentration on it. This white light surrounds the circle, attracting only spirits of light who come to help, assist and teach. This light will also repel all negative forces.

·          Spirit communication is serious business. If you are here for a laugh or to make fun, go home now.

·          Voice what you receive! This is one of the first steps toward progress. The more you speak out; the more you will be aware psychically. However, only one person has the floor at a time. Your Séance Conductor will assist you if you have questions or need assistance interpreting a message.

·          Be patient with the messages you receive. Many times we are unable to recognize a spirit when they come in. You also may not be able to place a message as given by our mediums. In such a case be polite and tell the medium that you can’t place it, but that you’ll keep it in mind. Almost always, by the end of the Séance, it will make sense to you.

·          Please keep your hands to yourself! Never touch another person during a Séance. A touch could prematurely bring a sitter who is in trance out of their trance state, or could be misconstrued as spirit.
