Lily Dale Assembly Spiritualist Community The largest Spiritualist Camp in the world. Lily Dale is located in Western NY. Psychic, mediums reside on the campgrounds and are available for readings, classes, lectures and circles. Notable authors and leaders in the Holistic Community also present workshops at Lily Dale during the summer season. Spirit-Path Center is owned and operated by Reverends Bob and Peggi Meunier, married couple and ordained Spiritualist Ministers by Holistic Studies Institute. The National Spiritualist Association of Churches A great resource if you are traveling and looking for a Spiritualist Church, a Psychic-Medium or just want to attend a Circle. The NSAC has churches throughout the US. This site has a list of those churches as well as a great on-line bookstore. This is a great place to obtain books that are recommended to our students. Many of these books cannot be found elsewhere. The Bookstore also sells supplies, such as Spiritual-Trumpets. For those of you who wish to purchase a trumpet for séance work, this is the only known place to buy one in the US. The Spiritualist Seminary. It is here that Spiritualist Ministers, psychics and mediums have trained for their respected professions. MPI is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and at Lily Dale, NY. The Institute has an on-line bookstore with many hard to find books. The Institute of Noetic Sciences This group was founded by Edgar Mitchell, an Apollo Astronaut. This is a great resource if you are interested in Parapsychology and the scientific perspective of psychic phenomena. According to their home page they are a nonprofit membership organization that conducts and sponsors research into the potentials and powers of consciousness—including perceptions, beliefs, attention, intention, and intuition. We explore phenomena that do not fit the conventional scientific model, while maintaining a commitment to scientific rigor. American Council of Hypnotist Examiners The ACHE is the foremost Professional
Certifying organization in the US for Hypnotherapists. It has the
highest standards, rigorous training required. This group is so well
respected throughout the country that when states write laws, they contact
this group for input. The ACHE has over 9500 members in over 35
countries, American Society for Psychical Research The ASPR is the oldest scientific psychical research organization in the United States. Founded in 1885, the ASPR supports the scientific investigation of extraordinary psychic phenomena, ESP, Telepathy, NDE, Out of Body Experiences, Spirit Communication, etc. They also publish a quarterly scientific journey which provides scholarly information to the public. They also hold workshops in their Manhattan location, have an excellent library, bookstore and offer membership. Association for Research and Enlightenment (ARE) The official web site of Edgar Cayce--"The sleeping prophet." Located in Virgina Beach, VA, the ARE offers an extensive library of the transcripts of the Edgar Cayce Trance Sessions, courses, workshops, bookstore as well as membership benefits. The Parapsychology Foundation is a not-for-profit foundation which provides a worldwide forum supporting the scientific investigation of psychic phenomena. The Foundation gives grants, publishes pamphlets, monographs, conference proceedings and the International Journal of Parapsychology, hosts the Perspectives Lecture Series, conducts the Outreach Program, and at its facility on the upper-east side of New York City, maintains the Eileen J. Garrett Library with its collection of more than 10,000 volumes and 100 periodicals on parapsychology and related topics. The Academy of Religion and Psychical Research formed in October, 1972 as an academic affiliate of SPIRITUAL FRONTIERS FELLOWSHIP, INTERNATIONAL. Its purposes are threefold: FIRST, to encourage dialogue, exchange of ideas and cooperation between clergy and academics of religion and philosophy and scientists, researchers and academics of all scientific and humanistic disciplines in the fields of psychical research and new disciplines as well as the historic sciences.
