Holistic Studies Institute extends a warm welcome all who wish to unfold their psychic potential by participating in its Psychic Development Program at our Albany NY--National Headquarters. Having been founded 25 years ago, the Holistic Studies Institute has a rich history of offering education in the intuitive arts. It has become a respected leader and an authority in the area of Psychic Development. To date over 10,000 people in the Northeast have participated in our programs.

Since its inception, HSI has offered more than just psychic classes. We offer a structured four-level accredited program in psychic and mediumship development designed to prepare students to become so well trained that they are eligible to become a Certified Psychic-Medium. This program has enrolled people from all walks of life who have learned and developed fascinating psychic and mediumistic abilities.

Without burdensome work involved, the Psychic Development Program at HSI is designed to be fun, informative and comprehensive. It emphasizes common sense, balanced with spirituality, which gives quality, depth and meaning to the psychic development process.

In our courses, students frequently participate in a séance (which is like a psychic laboratory), led by qualified teachers, for the purpose of developing mediumship and other psychic abilities. The séance begins with a meditation. Next, the teacher will help students to sort out the psychic impressions, which they receive and gently lead them into a discovery of their unique mode of psychic expression. All efforts are made, each week, to create a conducive atmosphere which will provide you with numerous opportunities to have meaningful psychic experiences.

A great feature of our program is our low tuition at only $79 per term. Instead of paying the entire tuition upfront, students pay as they go along in easy $79 installments. There are no contracts to sign. If you drop the course before the next installment is due, you owe us nothing. You can't find a deal like this anywhere else.

Moreover, our classes are small. A close teacher-student relationship is important to us and to the quality of your psychic education. Integrated into our program are written texts, authored by experts, which utilize knowledge derived from many years of research.

Our classroom environment is warm and friendly. A close, harmonious feeling is generated between students, and within a few classes we find our classmates becoming a cohesive, family-like unit.

American Board of Holistic Practitioners

The ABHP is a national association, which certifies qualified individuals whose education has prepared them to practice as Holistic Professionals. The ABHP accredits courses and training programs, which meet the highest standards of education in the Holistic Field and provides Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) to those completing study in such programs.

Upon completion of each level of of HSI’s Psychic Development Program, graduates receive 25 CEU’s (continuing education units) in practical intuition for each part of Level-I Accelerated Course. Note there are two parts to Level I -- Part 1 and Part 2.

Rev. Charlene Robbins is the Associate Director of HSI and an ordained Spiritualist Minister. She is a graduate of the Holistic Studies Institute’s four -year Psychic Development Program, its Advanced Teacher Training Program and its Seminary Program. She holds Certifications in Intuitive Counseling, Therapeutic Touch, Hypnotherapy and is a Nationally Certified Reiki Master. As an experienced psychic-medium, she has taught psychic development for over 10 years, has given readings to thousands of people and has appeared on TV and radio where she demonstrates her psychic abilities. She currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Holistic Studies Institute and the American Board of Holistic Practitioners

Part I and Part 2 consist of a total of 10 weeks each. Classes are scheduled once a week for 3 hours each. Integrated into these courses is a WRITTEN TEXT. This text will be available for purchase before class begins and the average cost is less than $20 (including tax). The tuition for each course is divided up as follows:

$79- Is the cost of each tuition installment , and is paid three times over each of the 10-week course period.

By comparing our Program to other courses of similar nature, HSI provides 60hours of instruction in each course with a very competitive tuition.

Mail or fax the completed application and $15 application fee no later than five days before class begins. Upon acceptance, you will receive a confirmation letter. The first $79 installment of tuition is due on the first class.

HSI is conveniently located on the corner of Central Avenue and Tanglewood Rd in Colonie. We are directly across the street from the Northway Inn, which is right off exit 2-W of the NY Northway (where it crosses Central Ave). There is plenty of parking on the side and rear of the building. All parking lots are well lit.

Non-Refund Policy

Because application fee and installments (of $79) are paid in convenient increments, tuition is not refundable regardless of the number of classes attended. Students dropping the course are not responsible for any remaining installments which are due after the date of their withdrawal from the course.
